As well as doctors’ surgeries the building contains a dental surgery, treatment and therapy rooms, and PCT administrative offices. The refurbishment includes modifications to the controls to improve the efficiency of the heating, and improvements to safety by fitting low surface temperature radiators and thermostatic mixing valves.

Extension of Cox & Robinson Pharmacy facilities and provision of additional consulting rooms for the adjoining Salisbury House doctors’ surgery. We provided the performance specification and outline design for the mechanical and electrical services installation, which was carried out as a design and build project.
Red Cross Centre, Woking
Complete mechanical services design as part of major structural modifications to the Red Cross Centre in Woking. The refurbishment involved the removal of the existing building’s roof and creation of an extra storey. Services included new heating, water services, air conditioning and ventilation.
Water Eaton Health Centre, Milton Keynes
Complete refurbishment of a 1960s health clinic including the upgrading and provision of new surgeries, a multi-functional meeting room, dental surgery, upgraded patient and staff facilities. We provided the performance specification and outline design for the mechanical and electrical services installation, which was carried out as a design and build project.
Bedford Hospital South Wing, HDU and Theatre Ventilation
Design of complete services installation for four operating theatres and one high dependency unit. The project included design of a new plant room, containing 6 major air handling units, to serve the operating theatres, high dependency unit and ancillary areas. Services included two ultraclean orthopaedic theatre ventilation systems, chillers, medical gases, pneumatic tube system and BMS controls. The project also included designs for the relocation of the hospital’s main telephone exchange and laundry.
